Great chess game
This was a cool little chess game you made and i believe i haven't seen another flash chess game around here,i got a kick out of the little animation sequences when you took out a piece so overall you did a swell job on this game and i'm sure many chess fans will enjoy it.
Not bad
Like mvalles87, after a few tries I got the four-move checkmate.
Fun with minor flaws
The AI has the same problem as some other machines of its type in that it will needlessly give up rooks/knights/bishops by attacking lower pieces, leaving themselves exposed, or by rushing into a check blindly.
Also the really rare animations tend to be the least entertaining, such as the white king killing a black knight being quick and painless. While the two pawns fighting brutally or the +spoiler+ godfather refrence are awesome yet easy to get.
Love it otherwise, especially the checkmate music.
Great idea!
I like the idea of animations depending of what is killed and with what, and some animations are quite funny. I managed to see every scenes, some were really tricky to do, especially the kill the Queen ones (luckily we can undo and the computer sometimes send his queen straight to death). It would be nice thought if we could review those scenes on the executions screen, and also that we get something special (a special scene?) after we see every single scene. Seeing nothing happen disappointed me a little.
It"s great but
yust add some more dificullties,I beat the AI in like 10 turns and didn"t want to unlock all the excecutions
aside from that the game is entertaining because of the funny and greatly animations
