This feels very cohesive to me, even though the movements are distinct (and even separated by long pauses). I never felt that I was jumping from one piece to an unrelated other; it was all bound together. The use of "Taps" was interesting to me also. Usually that is associated with sadness, but in this context it felt more majestic than sad.
The taps movement actually made a few people in the room cry. It is probably my favorite part of the piece.
