Reviews for "Video Games Report"

this was stupid

watch this...notice ron...an avid gamecube player with pimples and braces and glasses..all of wich are, prohibiting his interactment with other human being..wich therefor limits his activites to .......monkeyball.....and homework

There's a serious flaw in the study.

It is entirely irrelevant as to whether or not people's emotions are affected adversely by participating in video games - obviously, they're going to be. As one would feel the exhileration of being on a rollercoaster, one might get really pissed off playing Goldeneye and having the computer cheat to win or a glitch to cause them to lose.

The real question, the one this study should be posing, is whether or not this has LASTING effects. Since it doesn't, I personally consider this study to be totally unimportant.

Secondly, drawing a correlation that playing E-rated games must lead to good grades is downright misleading, as would be the flipside.

Accurate studies that answer important questions require very specific questions. This report is not only broad, but useless in its generalization. It offers nothing new but a obviously biased focus on gamers.

I thought it was good

It reminded me of a school project almost. The research was great and it really helps you visualize exactly the message that the author(s) are trying to put out. Me, I'm kindof in the middle of the graph. I usually play T rated games and enjoy a good RPG every once and a while. Great flash!

So what?

That was a very vague acknoledgement of what scarce data you got in. Anger is too airy to be measured by a test, as well as the potential of a rebellious mood might have a possitive effect in your life, as well as a cause. All in all, I think it tastes too much of self-righteousness to me.

............

This is the greatest thing I have ever seen. This research was outstanding. You guys rule beyond belief. And thats why I don't play video games.
