Reviews for "Simply Walk Into Epicness"

A very well put together piece. Though, I do think it sounded a little bit in-orderly towards the second half. Also, it reminds of the Ocarina of Time and galloping about upon my steed. Either way, great piece, and definitely make more

Perfect as always! Amazing that you used the instruments of my heritage :)

One can hear the Launnedas around 1:10. Not very hard to identify it since it is a bagpipe and I only know of three countries that developed a bagpipe. And I would like to think the other instrument is a Hammered Dulcimer.

Phyrnna responds:

You're the first to identify my use of Launnedas! :D

The other instrument are Uillean Pipes.

Blablablablablah.... I'm not going to be like the rest of the over cynical fools and over analyze this song. Well done Sir! Keep on doing whatever you're doing and you know, as I do, that true skill and understanding only ages like wine. You've got all the pieces in your head to make a great many gems. Keep up the good work!

This song was acceptable.
My immediate thought when I heard the first chord progression was this is identical to Adele's "Skyfall," save for the 4th measure and that the beats were slightly different. As for the song as a whole, I would have loved to hear a chord progression change.

I commend your ability to incorporate realistic sounding Celtic instruments; they are extremely hard to emulate. And I don't deny that at 0:39 seconds there's definitely an urgency increase. But the song also felt a little out of order in that respect. I would've liked the Celtic section to come after the piano opening, leading in crescendo to the urgent strings. Then a silence, and possibly even a bit more piano. That would've given me goosebumps.

Still, there is something to be said about this song. I would've liked a few minor changes, but it's definitely no where near some of the crap you hear on the portal sometimes. So keep up the good work. Continuing to work at this will only lead to even better music.
