Reviews for "Robot Wants Kitty"
This is recommended if you like games from the old NES era. I also recommend it for a time killer, as this game can actually be sped through in under 2 minutes with a little practice.
I love this series. So nostalgic. And old. "Old but gold" they say.
The best part of course is the ending. The picture at the end. Kitty looks very surprised but not unhappy. This game is one of the ones where you can see speedruns that far exceed my own ability. There's a really astonishing one on youtube that apparently isn't even a tool assisted speedrun (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9aRVS_3UfQg), it's just someone who is that good. That's some serious skill there and I'm not easily impressed, you can tell only just barely that it's legit and not TAS, it's just that good. I wonder how much practice that took. I thought back to this one after revisiting Cat Astro Phi which is another good one mixing cats and science fiction where like this you're trying to get a cat (but also escape).
It has been a while but I seem to recall that the robot is not very loyal to the kitty in the later games. Bad bad robot. Kitty is top priority. All robots know this implicitly. It's Asimov's zeroth law of robotics didn't you know, even more important than the first law. Oh yes, and those are DEFINITELY boxing gloves. Of various colors. A pity, based on the looks of Hamumu's account it looks like it's dead. I guess there won't be more robot wants games. Oh well, this one was the best.

I love this game! Great graphics, amazing music, and marvelous plot. A robot risking his life for a kitty. Multiple times. Wonderful game!
