Sound Quality

Aside from a bit of a sound issue, I'd say it was pretty cool.

studio-nightbird responds:

Yea the sound really did well..suck. But Thats all been changed...I've updated the flash to be EVEN BETTER >:D

good enough

animation was flowing real great, your good at drawing anime and all.
what i did not like was the lack of bagground, i dont know the series that you are refering to, therefor i do not know if the background you made in this movie has some reference, so pardon me if it does :)
i really love the anime-drawing style so you score a whooping 8, for great animation and the 2 missing points are from the background :)

Overall an interesting animation...

...However, there are several aspects that are stopping me from giving this a 9 or a 10.
For the record, I think the length is perfect. I film does not need to be long to be good. So, there's nothing wrong there.
But the distinct difference between the styling of the human and the background really throws me off. First off I see this computer generated 'plateau', and I think, "Awesome, this isn't one of those stupid animu shorts by people who can neither draw nor animate." But then I see the character, and his slightly unrealistic blinking, and fingerless hands. But I'm probably just being nitpicky, here.
Then there is the animation. The camera movement over the terrain and the movement of the crumbling wall are, in my opinion, totally flawless. But when throws himself forward to accelerate, the animation just appears so.. amateurish in comparison. I can't really explain it; it's just a feeling.
And then he starts to (ugh!) walk, and the camera movement is so jerky and unsteady, it really sets my teeth on edge. It reminds me of those rubbish movies where the camera-men/man must've been drunk while filming, because the only thing LESS steady than their handling would be... a... a boat, or something. Something unsteady like that.
Anyways, I can see that this film has real potential, it's just such a shame that a few elements let it down. (:

Fuckin brilliant!

wow...the combination of 3D and flash never felt and looked so stunning.
