Beautiful. I was trying to place who you sounded like but someone before me did. The song feels so much like a Jeff Loomis song its not even funny hah, and the tone has a very Petrucci like vibe to it. The progression is amazing.

The intro is wonderful and definitely fits the title a lot. Definitely feels like ascension. This is right up my alley! :D It reminds a bit of music from The Black Mages.

If this isn't ascension, I don't know what the fuck it is. The build-up in the track is just pro, sounds more like an epic all-out battle versus the final evil. There's no excess of guitar hero solos, so the song has taken its right path and flow. Dude, this is fucking good, rawk on!
