Nicely done shmup

Challenging the whole way through, very good play. I liked the ability to go back to earlier missions to clean up a few points but I'm glad it's the best of your scores rather than adding the combined scores to your points - keeps it from getting too easy.
Good / interesting point was the ability to reset your upgrades in return for cash. I definitely needed it to pass some bosses.
Currently stuck on the last boss, I'll figure out his 2nd pattern eventually.

@Vovich - Lvl 24 Reset all your upgrades & max out Missile damage / fire rate. Upgrade Shields, Hull and Engine in that priority
Pattern 1: Circle around the boss while the rocks are close while firing. When they move away from the boss wait until they've stopped moving and get inside them. When they begin to return wait until they've stopped again and move outside the rocks. Do this until the boss' shield is down.
Pattern 2: Boss will alternate firing missiles and bullet blossom. Dart around to avoid the missiles then hide behind the asteroids while firing.
Pattern 3: After you drain the boss' health enough it will charge you while regenerating shields so you'll need at least level 2 Engine. Just dodge until it returns to pattern 1.

What a Rush!

The action is highly exhilarating! I can't remember the last time I sweated so much over a boss fight. One thing that I found a major drawback is that it is very difficult to keep track of your own shield, as there is really no indicator when it takes damage.

But even more than that, what annoyed me most was the big enemies that, instead of simply passing through, will remain on the screen until killed. This wouldn't be much of a problem, except that they spawn much faster than I can be reasonably expected to knock them out, the result being that I spend the later levels dodging and firing at random hoping to get in a lucky shot.

The difficulty hikes way too much after a boss fight, and I feel that no matter what upgrades I install, I end up falling behind.

I really like the score, and the concept of this game in general. May I suggest that next time you at least include multiple difficulties, as I felt that I was playing on hard the whole time.

Smooth, compelling, and a kickin' track

Smooth game play, challenging, and nicely ramping up as you play further into it. And a kickin' music score to go with it! I'll definitely come back to this one later on.

The only reason it doesn't get full score from me is that it could do with a bit more shape variety in the enemies, and the debris/background is sometimes making it hard to see bullets.


Slow at first but soon pics up,I spent a lot of time going back and trying to ugrade the ship in order to beat the bosses.
Awesome and time consuming
