tbh I think this is ten times better than your original. The beat flows much nicer and since you give the frog a bit more flexibility with his sounds you're not as limited. Pretty short, but still good.

Yeah, varying the animations is a better option for some sounds and just to keep it interesting... but I don't intend for people to watch these clips for very long... :)
