I really hoped this game would be great but its WAY too complicated.
Making songs is pretty cool but there are way too many choices and the gameplay is too difficult, weird and not amusing.
I really hate having to say all this and rate the game like this.

theres no limits on the music anymore but the lag and the new crontrols arent really coming together i realy like the custonization but the rockband guitar hero thing killed it
Music is better but gameplay worse.
The musical additions and the story is great, the controls are pretty stupid though.
It isn't the controls themselves, but how the circles approach the "holes"
If they approached from one side of the screen (any side, top, bottom, left right, whatever.) and moved to the opposite side of the screen, then it would be fine, but the fact that it goes from the center of a hexagonal type layout, makes for a very small amount of time to figure out what button is supposed to be pressed and how many times.
that's because your brain has been molded into guitar hero gameplay for the last bunch of years, but that's not the only thing that exists or can exist, you'll get used to it

that music playing part is really fucking terrible. Its barely even redeemable, heres some advice, 6 directions is a bit too much, and since you only have about one second of seeing the note coming, its pretty hard to change your hands fast enough to get it, as well, its a bit too precise. So my advice would be, make it possible to see it coming from a bit further off, simplify the music maker a bit, and change it from being the arrows.
This game is so awesome I can't stop playing it.
