Lots of awesomes lately, that's never a bad sign, thanks!

awsome and funny!

it was very kool, but you should really speed up the characters movement!
but great game!!

squidly responds:

Thanks, my next game I'm going to work a lot on speed.

great

I love the simplicity of the game and it made me laugh
Found a easter egg on lvl1 sorry if i wasn't suppose to say that

squidly responds:

It doesn't matter really, people don't really know where to find it until they find it.

Hilarious

I like how you wrapped the game around a lesson in video game history (or wrapped the lesson around the game, I'm not sure which), then fleshed it out by having the protagonist face Rhindle in the final battle (I say Rhindle because he's the only dragon that shows up as white when you flip the "TV Type" switch to B&W); it came off sorta like an "Adventure vs. Zelda" scene. Being a product of the pre-crash days myself, I could also sympathize with Rhindle's depiction as a sort of self-appointed savior and preserver. That was beautifully done!

squidly responds:

Wow, I've really thought about how to make a character that can connect to people, and I guess I had it this entire time! Thanks, these types of comments connect well to me, I know what I did right, and in this case, it was actually something very difficult that I wanted to get right, and now I know I did get right.

Thank you!

References to the E.T. cartridges that were buried because they were such a flop, a good spin on how redundant video games tend to be, (Let's release a remake of a remake of a remake of a reenactment of a real world war every four months! YEAH!!!) and a small quip about how mainstream anime is the same filler inside a filler moment inside a filler episode.

A great parody.
