I can relate to this... I had a friend die about two years ago. Honestly I think it was suicide. We went to school together since Kindergarten so we knew each other pretty well. I feel bad because the last thing I said to him wasn't very nice. :(

@Icecoldkila15, you're an idiot. Are you so insipid, that there is no way you can relate to an animation like this? Has nobody ever left you? Have you ever lost someone you love? Or are you trying to be a wanna-be-gangster, that has no use for being culturally, emotionally, or even mentally repaired for the hardships of losing a loved one. And "Fail story. Fail point. Fail animation." You can't know EVERYTHING to a story, and you have to relate yourself. I've said this before, and I REALLY mean it: I want you to die, in a dark pit of despair, but not after suffering from physical, emotional, mental, and EVERY OTHER KIND OF PAIN IMAGINABLE, you don't deserve to even be on newgrounds. you should have your reviewing privileges revoked. You fail at being human.
@dumbdogdevin, You are supposed to relate it to your own life, make your own connections, and make the special to YOU. Thats the beauty of this video, because it allows almost all the people who have ever felt abandoned, or have lost a loved one feel on a personal level the emotions this evokes.
I have lost so many people in my life, and I often sit on that edge, metaphorically and once physically, for a while missing them, and just reminiscing. This film made me think of my current loved ones, myself. I thought about how much it would hurt if they left me, but I felt I could deal with it some more, but I NEVER would ever want to leave my girl, ever, because the pain would be too unbearable, and I would never want to hurt her.
I would like to personally thank you for this video. Well done, and keep up the good work.

Cliché! but good nonetheless
cliché emotions, cliché story and cliché manga/anime drawing style.
However, you show talent in both drawing and using the program. you also do explain in the comment section that this cartoon isn't forced on anyone, and that's true. this is me trying not to be an asshole...
anime drawing style is incredibly overused
find a more personalized style, waaaay too many people have drawn anime the same exact way (manga, whatever you cann it), so it's just bland.
as for the animation itself, it was ok, but it didn't flow naturally and it was mostly tweened and pictures with twitch animations.
music matched well, kudos for that,
plot was a little random, and the girl had no reason to jump off the cliff right in front of her friend, even if it was metaphorical, there needs to be a little more storywriting to give exigence to the plot.
without music, this would not have fared so well, but because the music tied in so well, i guess it deerved front page for the good timing.
just please PLEASE PLEEAASSSEE.. try using your OWN style and not the same ol' same ol' manga blandness.

Really? I am suppose to feel sad or touched by this film because some mentally challenged person jumped off a cliff on purpose? Really? I understand if she was molested, abused, or tortured in the past but she killed herself for no reason. Fail story. Fail point. Fail animation.
