How do you get your music to sound sooo good without even using VST's? I've got to get me some of those soundfonts...
Anyways, I think that this piece is very well done. I especially like the strings throughout, and the bells are nice too! The harp used, though very subtle at times, added a very nice dimension to the song. As always, excellent job with the orchestration!
I love how varried it is as well. The beginning is very dark and brooding, whereas other parts are much more dramatic, ominous, upbeat and, well...Escapish, lol! Very nice job in that department.
I think it is pretty original for the most part as well, though progression in the beginning section does sound slightly familiar. Only to a slight extent though.
Oh, and maybe it's just my speakers (Once again) but some of the louder parts of the song seem to create a bit of crackling and distortion.
Very well done, I can tell that a lot of effort has been put into this. :)

I really wanted this song to sound like a grand escape from a prison, so I incorporated a lot of different elements into the song as I went. :D (A good 90% of the time, I don't know what I am going to write...it just comes out of nowhere! :D)
Anyways, sometimes the chords will sound the same from other things. Even in a different key, there are a little over 14 different chord combinations you can make in each key, not including the minor chords. XD
Your speakers crackling? XD That's due to the mastering on my part. I'm working on getting better at that, I promise. :)

When I heard this, I imagined the aftermath of a horrific battle. I can also imagine this "prison escape" though. :)

I made it after reading a chapter of my friend's book. It inspired me so much that I couldn't stop working on this piece. :D
