So, less IS more.
Your animation is traditional in many ways. I'm never a fan of the squiggly lines but either you have style or didn't feel like animating the 3 frame re-draw of the static poses for char and background. No matter what the means, the ends came out better than what I usually expect from the squiggle style. Keep it up, I like your ability to tell a story.

Definitely a good one :) animation has definitely improved but I don't really like the bare use of colour. And the story line here is just brilliant, well done :D
Interesting Topic of Differences
It's interesting seeing how two sides can hate each other, but eventually come together in times of trouble. I like it.
A Suggestion: With the color, you could add a color pencil to your array of drawing tools. I'm sure you could create something fun out of that.
