Two problems. Lack of record, which sounds like it would be hard to do unfortunatly, and only a small selection of sounds.
Otherwise, it works great, and I may download some sound recording software to use this =D

It sounds like a record function would be difficult, so I'll just suggest a "num pad macro" option. I had a Cminor chord going, which required a somewhat awkward set of keys to hold. Let the player control chords in addition to single notes and you'll have a broader sound. Either that, or just have another set of keys for chords. A pitch bender would be fun, too.
