This reminded me so much of my childhood.
This music and sprites were pretty well done and the music fit well.
Sounded to me like the music was from Chrono Trigger.

It's a remix of an unused track from the original chrono trigger. The remix is called Crying Mountain. The track was added to the new DS version of chrono trigger in one of the extra dongeonys.

The look into the meat of that flash was a bit disturbing, I must say, about our lovely form of entertainment. But then, a right and proper game player probably shouldn't look into it too deeply if there is, in fact, not something deeper than the game. Because it's JUST a game. And I hope everyone watching this understands that, since I would now be worried about those who don't. Everyone else has nothing to fear, at least. (Unless there's spiders. Oh yes, the spiders.)
