even if there was no princess, u can still say u killed mini ninjas, defeated a dragon zombie thing, and met like 100 different guys who look exactly the same. the journey counts as 50% of the reward

Emptygoddess responds:

half a reward is a crap reward.

That was deep.

You're very good at this sort of thing. It really made me think, you know? Like I've wasted so much of my life, sitting in front of a screen, trying to save some imaginary princess or defeat some imaginary evil. It made me realize that my life is pretty much empty. Thanks. I'm gonna go outside. Hope I don't explode in the sunlight.

Emptygoddess responds:

If you do. I claim no fault on the resulting death, and no go on the clean up.

so sad ;-(

i feel sorry for him

Emptygoddess responds:

Cry! cry in the night!

So deep...

It would be such a common ending if the main character would fought against the negative thoughts of the sticky-men (the typical you-can-change-your-destiny-if-you-ke ep-going revelation, like games as Portal or flashes as Colour My World), but instead he just dies... and when you try it again you realise that no matter how hard you try it, it's a lost cause, there is NOT a 'princess', or an 'almighty power' given to the real braves, or an special award for so many hours of 'hard work' in front of the screen. Your only award you achieve is the sometimes forgotten good memories of the game and the bad... the REALLY bad feeling that you might have lost hours and hours of time of your life. I 've loved it.

(I also loved Legend of Link, gotta say it I couldn't resist :D)

Emptygoddess responds:

I dunno if it's as deep as you say, but i'm glad you got out of it as much as you did.

Very Clever

I really enjoyed this movie and it has a nice twist that makes it sad but very real. The music was great, the sprites were fine, but it's the message is what really hits home. I really love the fact that you took a game concept of finding a princess and making a connection in what actually happens in reality; not everyone will find a princess. It's a very poignant and harsh reality and yet you managed to show it well in this movie. Kuddos to you and keep up the good work!

Emptygoddess responds:

I will hoard your kuddos like cookies.
