I hate anime
still, I am not an asshole and I am judging this for quality, which is good. ONly two things I`ve noticed. one, music is too loud, doesn`t sound good even if I turn it down, second there is a problem with the arm of this guy, or u made it on purpouse? anyway, this is good.
A good first start...
A very good start: I actually thought that it might be the first entry in a series about a murder on the train until I saw it was about the death of a loved one. While it may not be that it is still well done and the b/w sketch style is really appropriate for the subject matter.
I hope to watch many more entries from you...good luck to you.
(Seriously though...making this a series about lost love and a murder mystery might be a good idea. Just a suggestion...it worked for 'Murder on the Orient Express')

I gave you a 4 out of 5 for this. Although there were a few instances where your animation was questionable (mainly when one of his arms detaches itself), i thought your artwork was great for a first animation. There are too many people that submit pieces of absolute rubbish and defend it buy saying its their first animation, but this actually had some quality, that could be easily improved with some more animation practice (although, if you practice with random shapes, please don't upload it). Your choice of sound track was excellent and matched the narrative of the piece really well. I would recommend learning some basic (i say basic, i never grasped how to do it really, ha!) scripting to stop the sound track when the animation finishes, as i am still listening to it while writing this.
Overal 4/5, 7/10 and actually favourited!
