I could really see this happening. (It reminds me of a true story. Two years ago I was in high school cross country. I was running around a lake with the team when someone from another school that was also there stepped out into the road and got flung sky high by a van. We thought she was gonna die, but when she barely recovered and her name was in the paper the first thing I did was facebook her. Her status was 'recovering'.)
