Reviews for "The Lost Lake"

Imaginative interpretation

The flash captured me from the very start and managed to wrap things up at the end. You had all those little hints scattered around leading to the reveal, after which you involved some more elaborate storylines. Possibilities for the subject you chose are probably endless and you managed to portray all those that matter. I don't know if you did it by instinct or careful planning, but good job either way!

I like how your ideas went together with the song. You didn't just make it flow along nicely, you made it better. I would have loved to see additional detail on the characters, but the lack of it didn't make my experience any worse. You might consider improving in that department as a future step, though. Just to make your work solid.

Other than that, very impressive! You're on to something with this, so you earn all 10 of my points for hard work and talent.

PapaLongLegs responds:

Thanks for the great review. Im glad this is still getting coverage, altough I think Ive progressed quite a bit since, animation wise.

I knew from release that the only thing letting this down was the visuals and its been a priority since to improve.

Anyway thanks a lot, this was a delight to read

one of my favorites by far

i love that the train is a symbol of their journey to the afterlife. The soldiers story is sad. i love how the old couple died together and also the part where the one guy is brought back to life and gets off the train. great symbolism, great song, great band, and most of all great job! 10/10

i dont understand how some people cant understand the meaning of it. it's fairly easy to comprehend.

PapaLongLegs responds:

Thanks! I worked hard for reviews like yours, cheers

What?

I don't get anything, but I simply just love it! the amazing artwork and the stories about how everybody die. I just love it!

very nice

i liked the video. as a poet, tend to write about darker things, feelings people hide. im a realist. most people dont like the substance but like the flow. im glad you follow in my shoes. and the band. i found this video uplkifting and inspirational. great work. (>^_^)>

PapaLongLegs responds:

This is pretty much an explanation of Purgatory or Limbo ,The place between Heaven and Hell.Where judgement takes place,Most of the people on the train will probaly go to Heaven,Well I'm done.
