Needs a lot more

You've given us a demo on lip syncing here. It's not really animation, just by making the lips move - you're trying to cash in on Egoraptor's brilliant voice piece and have truly failed to do it justice.

The stars are given for the fact that you've actually drawn a pretty decent character, added a decent looking pre-loader and have actually synced up the voices pretty well to what little movement you put in the piece.

Try putting some more effort in - make the background more detailed - there's sounds of the sea, so why not put some moving sea in there - no sea is ever as calm as you've drawn it. Have the two backgrounds change and make the characters look at least slightly different - I don't just mean give them a new hair style either.

I agree with both reviewers below me. You have to put more effort into it. Some background music would be nice. Its just..."meh". You can do it better, you have the tools and the skills ;)
And remember, if you want people to enjoy your animations, you have to enjoy making them first. It looks like you didn't have a good time doing it. If you are submiting your work is because you want to show the world what you can do, and that is respectable.

Terrible

Could you possibly have put any less effort into the animation? The two characters look exactly the same and do absolutely nothing the entire time besides 3 frames of them flapping their mouths open and shut.

Two Frames?

Not even touching the voice, this is just two frames with the mouth moving the same way regardless of what's being said. That, and it's the same frame flipped and re-colored in one place. You know you want to put more work into it than that :<
