Reviews for "Momentum Missile Mayhem 4"

Still, it's good fun.

Keeps being cool.

Since coming across the first Missile Mayhem i have always had a quick play, but MM 4 has had me coming back again and again. There is something about this game and that "just another quick go" factor, for me not having to pull back the ball to release instead just hold and release is far better method of firing i felt in the early series i often pull it back for it only to fail to fire. You now able hit the pause button and upgrade instead trying to do it on the hop while the game is still running, plus you get a quick message to say your special weapon is ready which at times is a welcome relief when faced against some of the harder aliens. With 4 you have the task sometimes of protecting missile or laser turrets, but what the game wont tell use air strike to clear the way these turrets will in fact take damage and more then likely be destroyed resulting in "failed mission". But that is a small issue in what is a simple pick up and play game, there been reports of lag with this game which i have experienced myself but found resetting my net connection and firing the game back up fixes this and so i feel its more connection to the server itself then the game causing the slow down. Myself i do hope this isn't the last of the MM series as im sure there could be other neat features add to this game just have to wait and see.

Great game, slight balance issue

I don't like the way the special weapons have to charge at the beginning of every round. It becomes a big problem when you come across enemies that can absorb projectiles. I understand that you should throw the other enemies at those guys, but they have so much armor that they just don't go down. That makes it so you end up pretty much losing the round instantly.

I noticed that once the instant activation upgrade is purchased, it fires a shot when picking up powerups. With the second tier ammo, that can be costly.

Another thing is more subjective. I would have preferred the quick special weapons system from MMM2 to this one. I like to be able to get the powerup and then launch my weapons rather than the other way around, although that may just be your choice.

Overall, it's a great game, but it doesn't seem to have quite as much polish as you used to have.

sandbox is AWSOME

just keep stacking diamentional rifths one on top the other until the first anemy ship is swalowed
select only the biggest ships to appear and maximize their number of them on the screen

if you fallow these directions you will get sth that looks like a big diamentional black hole that swolows the big ships in maybe under 2sec

Awsome

Super game with all those booms!! :P
