Reviews for "Color the Void"

Great!

This was an interesting, original game. I liked the way the titles, menus and other stuff all faded into the void.

this game is toooo sloooooooow

its alright, and the mini games are ok, but the main game is paced way too slowly.

Wow!

(For anyone who has trouble with the mini-games, it's actually pretty easy, just make up a strategy considering the fact that the first line you make will grow pretty large and the last ones will be the slowest to grow)
My strategy was starting at a corner... And then spiraling inwards. I had 100% every time by 15-18 seconds.

Fun, challenging, addicting, but a little frustrating when you died :P. I liked the humor, the difficulty was very well gaged and if I had more time I'd even try getting to the final boss!

Keeping the 8x combo while dodging balls from bosses was reaaaally hard.

Oh and f.y.i. the song that was being typed isn't originally from burn the rope. It was from the game Portal (it's a very fun game, I suggest you download it and play it!) about a deus-ex-machina - type scenario. (I'm also curious, what is your native language? Even though there are a lot of mistakes it's understandable so it's not that much of a let down.)

YailenkoGames responds:

Interesting. It's hard to believe that song isn't originally from YHTBTR. And what about this? http://www.reachground.se/2008/03/31/

My native language is Russian. Thank you for a review!

not too shabby

fun i liked the theme and its simplistic nature made it enjoyable though the dificulty left something to be desired insane wasnt really that hard. id like to see a sequel though. good job

Haha

A good, fun, humourous game. The filler mini-games were fun too but i think they were a little too difficult if you didnt spend all your points on speed, maybe knock off 5% each?

The narration kept me playing and the level skipping was welcomed because i was getting bored. The "big boss" was kinda disappointing though, i was expecting a big battle :(

An idea I had for a sequel for this game was kind of like bomberman, instead of having to charge right up to enemies to blow them up maybe you could lay bombs that explode after one or two seconds, that would add a "timing" skill to the game rather than just randomly running around in a clicking frenzy.

(P.S mtri what the f*ck? what was there not to understand? The narration seemed perfectly fluent to me which was more than I expected seeing as this IS the internet)

YailenkoGames responds:

Wow! Great review! Thanks.
Your idea with bomberman-style weapon for the sequel is very nice. I think it will add depth to gameplay. By the way another thing I'm thinking about is making Battle Editor for this game. So players could make their own battles/levels and share them.
