played it all the way through. max balls in play: 9, lame. max life: 5, even lamer.

Really nice, but one problem
This is a really solid, high quality Breakout type game, but there is one major issue- The mouse isn't locked into the Flash window. So if you move even slightly outside of it, you lose all control-- And that's easy in a game where you have to make sudden dives to get a loose ball.
Maybe an increased difficulty, from fewer lives, but more frequent Sticky Bat powerups, or a Ball Control powerup, would be nice.
Not bad...
now make it harder, here are some tips:
decrease the amount of lives.
make some power ups cancel others out. for example, if i have sticky bat, and i get expand bat, i lose sticky bat.
more levels.
more bricks/less time on each level.
you don't have to use all of these ideas, but atleast put in some of them
I love this type of game, but...
1. As stated by others, the control-by-mouse setup is annoying in that the mouse often ends up leaving the play area.
2. Power-ups are too hard to distinguish between.
3. Power-ups are too plentiful; it makes the game too easy.
4. The music leaves something to be desired.
5. The levels seem kind of like the same thing over and over again; be creative.
6. A save game feature would be nice.
Otherwise, good job.

Only issue I had was I lost a couple balls due to the mouse going out of focus -- but I don' think there is anything a developer can do about that. Fantastic game!
