Not enough gold.
All in all, this is a good game. It's very refreshing to see a game dedicated to poking fun that doesn't completely sacrificing its gameplay in order to do so.
Every conversation made me chuckle (some more than others) and the battles felt challenging but not insurmountable.
I have only one complaint and that is that it never felt like there was enough gold to go around. Those potions were far too expensive and if someone got focus fired and died, you may as well just leave 'em that way 'cause there's no way you'll be able to afford to resurrect them.
I'd recommend lowering the potion cost to 5 gold and having them completely refill your hp (even from 0). It'd probably also be a good idea to double the income you make from those monsters.
This would allow the player to play around with the different options in the shop. Possibly get two characters decked out physically and two magically. As it is, you really can only afford to upgrade two of your characters at all (when you get gold from new characters) and you have to pick weapons or magic.
In conclusion: enjoyable game. It feels really rough around the edges, but it's very enjoyable all the way through.
