:) - A gamer by heart, I can't help but like this piece. It sounds like a theme for 'sorcerer's domain deep in dark forest', without the zombies trying to eat you--harmless, like you said. Also, I'd like to note that this piece loops seamlessly, which is ideal for game scenarios. The song repeated like three times before I even noticed.
/ - The melody is solid but the pervasive 'tambourine' instrument--the ringing sound, began to rattle my ears after a while. It reminded me of Nobuo's music in Final Fantasy and I liked it, but it never stops. I thought you might want to omit it at certain points..
