i really think you should go for it. this series is actually a remake, and not that i'm that great now, but i really sucked back then. it proves you really get better over time!
It's good
The animation was good, voice acting was good, not great, the voices matched the persons, but a bit more "power" could've been in there, don't be shy about screaming into microphones or making "ugh" or "argh" noises. For comparison, find a cartoon (on tv for example) that's a bit similar to yours (fighting, flashbacks etc.) and only listen to the sound, you'll be amazed at the noises those voice actors make.
The subtitles were a little off under the category Spelling, nothing too serious though. The animation was nice, pretty good, the characters were drawn well. All in all, it's good but not great in my opinion. However I will be watching your account for the next episodes, and see how you will improve at this, episode by episode. I'm sure, with enough work, this will turn out great.
Good luck with the next episode, and hopefully I will write a more positive review by then ;)
PS. I know that I don't have any animations, but I recognize a good animation when I see one, and this one was. Keep it up.

lol if in you "ps" you were referring to a previous review reply, dont worry. i consider this a well thought out review and critique. i've had it been said that i don't do my sfx voice acting well, and its true i got a bit shy! i really will try for it the next time the script calls for it though. i feel like screaming :)

I opened this link, not expecting more than some halfass sitcom cartoon.
I was dead wrong!
I was really surprised by the quality of the animation, and when I look at Sleepless, i see... well I see a little Dragon Ball Z, haha.
The story is interesting, and the voice actors are maybe not top notch, but they get the job done, and that's all I seek in voice actors.
The graphics could be a little more original, but since I can see how much effort that was put into this, I cannot take any stars of this.
I don't know, I barerely noticed if you got lazy, the only thing I noticed was when the smoke came out of the forest, it didn't look very good, but that's one minor thing.
Even though it has its little flaws, it's a great piece of animation, story writing and voice acting.
And I will give this a 10, since actual effort was really put into this, and since I really did enjoy it.
I can't wait to see ep. 2, so get to animating!

Man, this was the kind of animation I dreamed of animating.
Its obvious that you put in many effort.
Furthermore, Most of the frame by frame animation are so smooth it seemed...um, cant really find the diction.
I also like that you build up so much of the atmosphere in the begining, anybody would like to watch this.
Some parts, however, I was like "hmmm, this could be better" fore example many of the running/dashing scene was just tweening and distorting the shape (i think)
but it dosent really matter cause everything else was great.
By the way i love the backrounds.
anyhow. AMAZING.
I would of given it a 11 if i could.

i actually enjoyed this animation, the story kept me drawn in and i kinda look forward to seeing the next episode.
and sure, the voice acting wasn't the best but you really can't expect everyone to be expert voice actors.
