Couldn't unpause
Game was ok, but the background was really annoying, and when I paused, the game wouldn't unpause unless I held down p while playing.

Pretty good...
But you really need to make the shots stand out more, they are nearly invisible against the light yellow background. Perhaps if they were black.
Lacking
You didn't seem to put enough effort into some of the animation. The bullets almost blend with the background, along with the hero. Speaqking of the background, it wwas kind of annoying and decieved me so that i though stuff was going to be attacking me at super fast speeds and have a faster pace (which it should have). The controll was kinda wonkey as well ( like when I figured out that i couldn't go up and left at the same time). I know it's only a demo (I hope), but these are just suggestions if there is to be a future version.

You can go up and left at the same time, Im really not sure why you weren't able to
and I have fixed the bullet problems and made it so the power-ups cannot be shot

The movement needs A LOT of work cause the control is twisted...

I really don't see why you guys are having problems with that none of my testers ever comented on the movement controls.
A funny and cool game but...
too much simple. Could be much better.
