Frame rate issues become a big problem

In a platformer game that requires precise positioning or else death occurs, and which has a finnicky sense of momentum, losing random frames during jumps (and sometimes even just walking!) becomes a huge problem. Even at low quality, the game was rather choppy on my 4 year old computer. I suggest trying to optimize code or figuring out some way to reduce the graphics load the next time you make this sort of a game. For instance, I think you've been using transparency to handle the faded appearance of the bottom portion and the person. Since the background is just white anyway, you could do the same effect by just redrawing the objects in lighter shades.

it was good.

but not great. got a little repetitive, but for the most part was challenging and fun. The only thing that bothered me was after completing a level there was no way of telling if you had already played it, nothing to indicate if a level had been beaten. so for an ignorant fool like me, i would play a level and then after beating it forget where i was and have to check a few levels haha.

But the controls were sluggish and god-awful. Made the game boring and annoying.

Good game but...

It's annoying as hell though, the ways the obstacles hit you when you're not even touching them. A few changes and this game has some nice potential.

Holy crap dude

this game is pretty freaking hard man but is still not impossible like similar games. the only complaint i have is that the character slides which is really annoying when trying to avoid mines and saws but i guess thats why you made him slide to begin with so that we would be very careful when landing. other than that it plays almost flawlessly, the visuals were great, and music was awesome. two high fives for you
