I liek Mudkipz.

And this tutorial. Nicely done. You are a savior of newbs.

Thanks

I'm sure a lot of newbies to the web, younger kids and older people are all thanking you right now. Good simple flash, informative and useful.

Thanks for helping the would-be victims out!

It's pretty good

It's a good way to tell the people how to keep their accounts safe and how to tell if someone is phishing or not. Good job.

Logical fallacy here

Facts:
- you are sending a message to everyone
- you are advising everyont to download some random tool (McAffee SiteAdvisor)
- your message contains spelling errors

Using all the wisdom I learned from your flash, I conclude that you must be a phisher.

duh.

seriously, social problems (like blindly trusting foreigners on the internet) are NEVER solved by just installing some tool. Often, those tools turn out to cause more trouble than they solved, when those tools itself have bugs/security holes. Education is good, but IMHO you should have skipped the page promoting a questionable tool by a company who sure is neither altruistic nor infallible.

Xaotik responds:

1) This is simply a relay of a warning in the BBS, in flash form.
2) I didn't say to download it, I said its a good tool. Last time I checked, America is a free nation and people have choices as to what they want to do.
3) I made that flash at like 3 AM in the morning, because I wanted to get the stuff I saw on the BBS out there to warn people...

Also, McAfee is a trusted company.

Nice tutorial

A bit short, but still useful for newcomers. Also, you should add a mute button - as much as the Infinite Handbag Loop is a classic, it can get very very boring after sometime.
