Oh I remember this game...I will say it, this game creeped the hell out of me. I say this mostly because of how these zombies are designed. The artist really outdone themselves with their design. Another thing I love is that you cant kill them unless you cut off or shoot the head. A lot of zombie games mostly make body shots count as if it doesn't matter. Yet Curse Village does it in the way that I consider the best. If you shoot or slash at their body or feet, it simply wounds them and doesn't kill them. In fact, they get slowed down by that. I just love it!
However, the story just seems way too simple. Oh no! Scientist guy is working with his assistant Jimmy, but then God throws down his lightning to say, "I told you not to throw that Science crap around my neighborhood!" Which resulted in chemicals and stuff exploding and he was suddenly a zombie...Okay.
Plus, it just feels like a dumb downed version of The Last Stand. Don't get me wrong, I still like Curse Village and will play it now and then, but I'm not the only one who thinks this, right? It feels like The Last Stand, but you can buy your survivors instead of finding them along with weapons. Though again, Curse Village sticks with the natural idea of zombies in that you need to shoot the head while The Last Stand pretty much makes body shots count.
Anyway, I plan on playing the other Curse Village games belugerin submitted. I'm sure that there were improvements and will be sure to play them fully and share my opinion.
