Reviews for "Drop the Bomb (Medals)"

yea...

some of them had two answers i've done most of them and it said it was wrong.

I got a lot a Q's on if there is something of this or this.

but even thou I still liked it

Well that was fun, wasn't it?

Hi,

well you made quite a job, I must say. Well, graphics are little strange (some hybrid between cyberpunk abandoned-former-factory-illegal-wres tling-area and slots machine) and personally I woudn't pick that as a background for trivia game, but it's still nice.

Music and sounds are OK, I guess. Well, it's no symphonic orchestra, but who needs that, right?

Questions. Yeah, they are trully american. But, I get it. You're American, so you write american question. But it doesn't matter. Sport and history are really bad topic group for "international trivia game". You pick, like, american football (I don't even know rules of that game) and all non-americans are pissed of. You pick, like, hockey, and guys from Australia, New Zealand, etc. are pissed of. You can't make everyone happy. Try more common knowledge questions - When was first astronaut sent to Moon etc.

Difficulty. I don't think that these questions are too hard. Actually there aren't so much of them and I learn quickly so, one question can fool me only once. But if so many people are complaining about difficulty, you should make some difficulty levels (like easy - $1000 for bonus round, normal $5000 for bonus round and so on).

Medals. Well, you kind of cloned Zombie archievemet from Portal Defenders. There are no rules what "kosher" should look like, but my personal opinion is, you should prove some skill or train hard to get a medal.

"Bombsquad"
"Marathon Hill"
"Someone set us up the bomb"
"Bonus buster"

I think these medals are based solely on luck. It's nothing to be celebrated, bragged or anything if my CPU generates some pseudorandom numbers that are somehow good for me. I think that only true medal whores will bother enough to try to get 25 good answers in a row. It's not a problem for me to answer 25 questions right, it's a problem to get them! How can I manipulate the game to generate only $100 or $200 questions?

My recomendation is revisit those medals. It would definitely help the game and us, the medal collecters.

!!!! PLEASE READ THIS !!!!

I've entered the bonus round several times with more than 10 spins, but got no medal. Please, check your code. I can post screenshots, if you'd want to.

!!!! PLEASE READ THIS !!!!

P.S.: Anyway, thanks for nice gameplay. I learned something new today. Although, i might not use that knowledge at least my brains doesn't rot.

P.P.S.: To all guys, who can't beat the game. Get smarter! Or at least write down the right answers!

Great Trvia Game, Just one little problem.

I really enjoy playing "Drop The Bomb"! I can tell you put a lot of effort into making it. The music fits perfectly along with the gameplay! I did find just one small error one of the questions.

The question asks what is the name of the first Harry Potter book and you have as the correct answer "Philosopher's Stone" The correct answer is "Sorcerer's Stone". other than that, the game was a true pleasure to play! Keep up the great work Pacdude!

pacdude responds:

It was first published as Philosopher's Stone, and while it was renamed Sorcerer's Stone in America, no other option would fit as well, so the question will remain. Thank you for the kind words, however. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Po tter_and_the_Philosopher%27s_Stone

1 problem i have spotted

I love this game but the Roald Dahl Question Which of these books have not been made in to feature length films is inaccurate as all of them are feature length films Matilda was released August 2nd 1996
BFG Was Released December 25th 1989
James And The Giant Peach was also released in 1996 (april 12th in US) (August 2nd In UK) (April 3rd 1997 Australia)
Sorry to be such a geek but just wanted to point out the 1 and only flaw i have seen in this game LOL

pacdude responds:

Fair enough! I'll have to make that question clearer!

This is too hard

Questions are too hard for me.
Make them easier.

pacdude responds:

No. Get smarter.
