Reviews for "Armagodden"

whoa...

hell...
is a pretty musical place if u ask me...
i love the chromatic strings playing the
fast rhythms, intensifying the lengthy powerful
low brass. u definetly do the french horns some
justice lol
i love the intense percussion hits
it moves away from the classic mussorgsky feel
(referring to the Night on Bald Mountain)and
more into the neoclassical/cinematic feel...
real nice

tho i wasnt satisfied with the ending

...is this really u?
cuz i dont wanna seem like a gullible dumbass

WinterWind

ddavis responds:

It's really me, yeah. There's a bunch of jerks on Myspace and other places who claim to be me, but I can assure you I'm real.

Hmmm

Hey... just a quick review here. Excellent work... brilliant and professional.... that iissss... assuming this is you.

Do you have any credentials... could you tell me the programs and such you used to create this... seeing as ur a fairly new artist here... I naturally question such work, since such professionality is seen on the portal unless in regards to winterwind, edgen and a few others. Do not doubt that if any of this work is indeed stolen... someone will find it... they usually do. Don't get me wrong... if this is yours... I'm so incredibly impressed I will humbly bow down to you.

With that assumption in mind... I hope to see more work from you.

ddavis responds:

The score itself was written in the "Finale" program - it was later performed by an orchestra, explaining why it sounds so realistic.

I attended UCLA where I majored in composition, and was tutored further by Henri Lazarof. People such as Sam T, who are of a very high intelligence caliber and can see through a BS filter, find my work to be original. Um... I think that's it.

This work is being spewed out nearly daily because not all of it is brand new, some of it made pre-Newgrounds.

Hello again

Hey, man. This is very nice, and familiar, sounding like it comes from "Revolutions." Anyway...

I am going to try and leave a more detailed review this time. I really like the seeming randomness of the song. Not really any melody. This is a good thing though. It does set your style. And the random buildups of tensity are nice.

Very nice instrumentation. I especially like the usage of strings. I admire your style, if indeed this is Mr. Davis.

Great Job. Also, I have an idea. Why not somehow put some kind of news up on your official site confirming that you made this profile. That would help. Just a suggestion :)

Wonderful job with the song. Hope to hear more soon. 5/5

The FilmMusic.com group manages my website, namely a fellow named Goldwasser. I don't have the FTP info and pretty much can't change pretty much anything on it.

If I managed it my name and other info would be up in the "Contact section."
