Reviews for "Gerudo Valley Remix WIP"

I agree, your drums are horribly weak. But thankfully, the rest of the song picks up where its lacking. However, I'd love to see it tuned up and resubmitted. One very nice piece, except near the end, where it gets very sloppy. All in all, nice.

BlazingDragon responds:

I've never composed music for a drum set before. I'm really going to need someone to help me with that. >.<

Thanks for the critical, helpful review! I plan to finish this eventually.

really good instruments, and really good melody.

my biggest problem with this are the drums. They feel really weak, needs moar pawa!

at 1:43 i hear a detuned orchestal hit, watch out with that

BlazingDragon responds:

I agree about the drums as I am inexperienced in writing for drum set. When you say more power, do you mean in terms of mixing them, the actual arrangement, or both? Do you have any resources you could recommend for me to improve in this area?

Thanks for the thoughtful review!

Respect! :D

BlazingDragon responds:

Thanks Mario! :D

I think this song is better slowly I heard a couple of mixes but fast...Don`t like it.

BlazingDragon responds:

Liking it slower is completely fine, but wouldn't it be more fair and helpful to rate a song on it's compositional quality than your own genre preference? :o At least give a little constructive criticism on a one-star review my friend.

Mix it with like requiem of spirit or something...I dunno.if i had the beat Id play around with it and see what I got. But Im kinda lost too a bit.

BlazingDragon responds:

I'm trying to imagine how I could fit the Requiem of Spirit in, but I'm just not hearing that one. Hmmm...Thanks for the suggestion though. I'll listen to some of the other ocarina songs and see if any of them strike up any inspiration. I actually hadn't thought of that, so thanks!
