Reviews for "Battalion: Skirmish"

"not their best effort"

I've been searching everywhere for hints of a sequel to the greatest flash game of all time, Battalion: Nemesis and almost soiled myself when I found this! Unfortunately, the graphics were sooooooo terrible, I screamed and immediately wrote an angry message to the author. Why go from such rich graphics in the onld version to a "new" graphics technique that looks like a really bad arcade game? I am disgusted with the artwork! But, when I ignored the horrible graphics, I found that I was still playing a good game to match it's greater elder.

Some control problems... But good, none the less

I don't know if it's just my browser(currently using Opera v.9.64) or what, but for some reason I have problems selecting units if I move them under the green 'X', and I can't get the x to go away. And a little tutorial wouldn't be bad either. It took me a little looking around and experimenting to figure out how everything worked. And I would like to see the finished product made so I can continue to control units after I move them, like if I wanted to attack something, instead of having to move and attack on the same click. I kept having to click 'undo move' because I would move units to attack things, and remember I have to do it all in one click. And for a demo, I would have liked to see what the minning was like, and maybe be given more of a chance to use the ships. i built one and was sad to see I didn't really have much of a chance to use it. As for the good, the music was good, and fit pretty well. The game looked great, and play was smooth once I got the hang of it. Keep up the good work!

the introduction and sprites were good...

but the usement was bad.

critizm:
1.never use other sprites
2.make some sense in the movie or fla type (thats rly swf)
3.its kinda dull,which means slow.

pc me for more info,ILL HELP! =D

It's great

I can't wait for it to come out xD

Whew~!

Even for a trial version, this was ace. Considerably better than Battalion: assault (?).
-that is one level is better than any other level, not this game is better than other game.

Great introduction of new units, smoother gameplay. faithful to the Advance Wars mold, yet brilliantly independant of it. Only thing was repetitious music.
try and make a contest on the BBS for it.
