Reviews for "Koden X Prologue Part 1"

it started great but...

at first it was really good, it was well drawn and well animated but the scene in the girls house it just seems like you didnt want to do it any more and just made it as fast as you could. it just wasnt well drawn or we animated, and both characters just seemed emotionless. overall it was still rather good though.

Winzra responds:

I totally understand where you are coming from. This episode being the premiere episode showed us a lot of do's and don'ts when it came to animation. A big DON'T is to animate a scene using a nearly neutral stance for your characters and assuming the voice acting will fill in the emotion for you :D. We thank you for your honesty and take your advice full heartily. Thanks! :)

room tone

take some audio when your actor's aren't speaking and have it play through your whole scene. This is called "Room Tone" it will prevent the dead silence between clips of dialogue. This can also be fixed with ambient background noise or music.

Winzra responds:

Hmmmmmmm, Room Tone. Got it, Will definitely look into that! Thank you!

wow

this is some great work lookin forward for the next one

ID GOODÂȘ!!!!!!!! =) i like....

i like this animation and.. posiblemente the history in a future... =).. =).... CONGRATULATIONS.. =)

Awesome

I enjoyed it, the audio was good and the drawing above average at best. Considering the length. However, I'd like to see you take more time on the graphics in future installations.

I enjoyed everything up until the last part in the bedroom. Some of the dialogue was cheesy and there was an instance of strange character reaction. For instance, when he inquired about there being survivors she was all like, "No Survivors!" in a cheery tone. The girl also was a little dramatic in parts where it was uncalled for, and other times she lacked intimacy of the moment when needed. Over all, 5/5 and 9/10. I look forward to future installments!
