A good start
That wasn't bad, though I felt you did use a lot of ideas from Proxicide. He improved a LOT from his first MK Vs. SF flash to his third, and I think you could continue to grow as an animator as well. The animation was mostly pretty smooth (but could be better) and the fight made sense and was nicely paced. I felt the slowdown was a bit too long on the super moves.
If you make more sprite movies, I think you have a good basic handle on it. I'd recommend making things feel a little more fluid. One thing Proxicide and some others really nail is the paths and angles of character movement, managing to make it look like these sprites are moving and not just being dragged around the screen. That's something to borrow from, you have the basics of it down but there's always more to learn.
6/10, 4/5. The 6/10 gets dragged down by a few factors, like a little lacking of originality and just certain awkward aspects of the flash (which I think will get better with experience if you continue to animate).
