An elegant and well orchestrated piece. The dual guitars work well with each other, neither overpowering the other. This song reminds me of a few of the sadder moments in the video games of my childhood. Like when a well liked character sacrifices their life so the party can press onward!

Whoa, Final Fantasy just pops in my head when I listen to this. Warriors with naught but a sliver of hope , stand upon their homelands in a last ditch effort to end the reign of an evil lord. Your synopsis there is very aptly written, it quite describes it well! The song doesn't necessarily blow me away, but it's good!
