Conceptual, but needs a little something more
I really liked the concept of using the birthday candles and their suffering when the blow out comes.
The animation accompanying it was great, it was smooth, creepy and dark, felt a little sketched at some points but that is in the title and overall, it did work with the creepy and desolate feeling of the candles.
The music was excellently chosen, very happy at some point yet very creepy most of the time like The Nightmare Before Christmas, one of my favorite movies of all time and it went very well with the flash.
The voice acting was decent, there were some points where it unfortunately broke and crackled, but no recording is perfect and I do commend whoever voiced this flash.
Finally, the humor needs more work since I would've liked more mad raving feelings rather than despair and of course the feeling we get when something evil like this makes us smile, but it was decent.
Overall, this was good, worth the front page, yes, but it only ranks as a 4 and an 8 on my book.
