Good gaming engine but unoriginal to a fault
The tetris gaming engine is really good. It's been made even before the concept of flash existed and people are still making there own verisons of tetris.
Hell, even doctor mario borrowed the tetris engine itself for it's game but none the less it kinda saddens me to see good programmers borrow from already existing engines because i see bad programmers create original engines all the time.
I would take there lead and follow there example by creating my own original engines too.
You work with the knowledge you already have.
not saying the game you made wasn't fun or anything just that I'm taking away points for making a generic game that doesn't stand out from the other tetris tributes.
when bad programmers create original gaming engines with what little things they know about action script than there is no excuse for good programmers to not only follow there example but also lead the bad programmers path to becoming good programmers by setting an even better example.
I hope to see the creative juices flowing because you really are a good programmer from what i seen of this gaming engine.

You managed to make a game that's already been made before, but slightly worse!
Sorry for the sarcasm, but it isn't too great. You've managed to make the classic game bland, since it has no colored blocks and no sounds, just music. As well as this, the blocks just remove parts of the screen when they're placed, and that doesn't look too great.
You could have made it better if you added nice visuals to it, or added a little twist to the original version, since everyone has played it and their are many sources to play the classic tetris. You could have even made a computer playing along side you and for every line they make, you get a line added to the bottom. )(That's on the gameboy version if you have 2 copies of the game and a link cable, anyway).
