the animation is crap when doing the guys whole body, but ill give it an extra start for the effects

Room for Improvement
Creepy, I was just listening to the Silent Hill 3 soundtrack. Didn't expect that song to come up in a love flash all of a sudden.
Anyways, your art is really good. The animation is definitely lacking though. It's not just your keyframes it's your choices on how to animate it. It just seems very 2d and flat. You need to think on your characters rotating better, probably one of the hardest parts of animating people.
Truth
This is a very nice peice of art. For once it seems that someone has left the Hollywood inspired bore fest for something thoughtful. TO the people that think there should have been more I have but this to say: Realize that true meaning comes from within and should never need to be thrown into one's face. Learn to see past the obvious and apresiate the beauty of what is NOT told. Once this happens the world is much more interesting and true art is much more, how to put this, unexplainable. Find your meaning...if you seek for this meaning you will find it. No pun intended?
However, one thing my dear artist. Never defend your work. Let it defend its self. IF it can you aren't needed to and I think it can. Beautiful. Keep it up.

Could have had a little more...
I like it but he should have done more. Instead of just reading the note, it could have been shown so we could know who it's from and what it's about. Also because you made it so short, instead of a diner, he should have went to a place where he saw her but there was a difficulty of getting to her. Or let him beat up someone. It just could've had more of a story line.
