This is the funny recreation of the repetitive mario final lap. (or in expert cases the whole race) Nearly at the finish then suddenly a blue shell blows you up ( sometimes followed by various other weapons eg red shells, green shells, bombs, MORE blue shells) It happens to me all the time, but this makes it all seem like a comical joke. The classic winners failure, The "hmm... what does this do?" the final scene of yoshi beating up dry bones is funny and a great moment.
