NO SOUND?!
This game is really good, but there's one problem: THERE'S NO SOUND?!?!
Seriously, this game should have some sound efx to make it even better. You should try to make some!

I can't hear you
This is a great game. In fact, it's one of the best submissions I've ever reviewed. The only problem is, there's NO SOUND!!! That's disappointing, because if this had fitting music and sound effects, I would have honestly given you a 5. Instead, I have to award a 3 because it feels like I'm only getting half of what the full experience should feel like.
The levels also take WAY too long to complete. I didn't even realize there WAS a level 2 until I looked in the corner and saw the timer. SHMUPs should just be having to fly from one end of a stage to the next, and it shouldn't take three minutes to do so. Yeah, I clocked it. The energy bar was also a big inconvenience because I couldn't immediately switch between weapons that did and did not use up energy. Come to think of it, why let us use all the old weapons anyway? If I press Q or E, let it switch me between my special energy weapon and my normal weapon, and the two can also be upgraded separately.
The enemies also felt a bit repetetive. They all shot straight in front of them. Maybe if you had some with a spread shot or some that chased you, it would spice up the game a bit. Finally, the last thing that bugged me was the speed of it all. Overall I didn't experience too many slowdown problems, but I would have liked to lower the quality of the game so as to avoid it altogether. With that being said, this is a phenomenal game, and I hope that you'll make a sequel that fixes the problems I encountered.

Nice graphics and controls
It looks really nice, although the ships could have been a little bit more detailed, their graphical style fits in well with the other visuals. The gameplay is pretty good, a bit simple, but totally effective.
Shame that there was no sound effects or music - unless I missed them somehow? Which is one of the reasons the rating is quite low.
