Good thing you worked the controls in the sequel.. keep on working on it! it's actually the only flaw these series have.. but it's so important to have proper control over your character in any platformer..
I shouldn't completely bash you since I'm talking about the full series I will say that the concept is very very good! Just keep on working on those controls!

the only problem i have is the controls, sometimes they seem unresponsive and you end up dying alot. other than that its an awesome game with a really cool style

i found something very weird...when i played the tutorail and then went to play story mode...when i quited story mode and played the tutorail again i was at level 2 and when i did the same thing again i was at level 3...please fix this
I understand why people think it's like shift.
It has black contrast white, there is a special ability in both games. They are platformers that are hard, you have to go through and obstacle course, and I think there is a subtle similarity in the music.
