I've listened to this three times so far. It's definitely experimental for you, considering you've held to such a familiar style for so long. You are using new synths, it sounds like. Like that buzzy one. I think. Whatever that noise is at 1:48 is painfully out of place. Like I said, though, it sounds like you're trying some new toys, and I can't expect experiments to behave flawlessly on the first few tries, can I?
I know I've mentioned this before, but you REALLY REALLY REALLY need to break out of that chord progression. You've used it so many times, and quite frankly, it's getting old. Gotta spice it up every once in a while, you know? As soon as you can master maintaining your signature sound while allowing your music to have some variety in chord progression and mood, then I don't think I'll have anything else to fault you on.
