To really make the game frightening you have to be able to die. After figuring out that my character was immortal I basically just moved around with impunity. Monster hit me? Eh, who gives a shit, not going to do anything to me because I got plot armor.

If making a scary game was not the intention, then what you're left with is a game that's got rather plodding gameplay. I mean, what is fun about walking around a map trying to little glowing lights in plain view? There's no learning curve to any of the essential tasks at all... everything is idiot proof (reiterated by the fact you can't die). So, basically you just wander around aimlessly until you find what you need.

The only reason I'm giving this 2.5 stars is because I think there was potential here and it was at least engaging enough to make me complete the game.

That said, wouldn't recommend this to anyone that isn't bored.

I loved the game had a crazy but good plot voices were ok but the only problem is I went all over the cave like 8 times and couldn't find the last sprite dropping to unlock the final bonus feature

I think this game has a TON of potential, but I have a few issues, first of all the voice acting is not amazing, but to be honest I wasn't expecting triple A title quality, Second I found the scene with the sprite unfunny and all it succeeded in doing was breaking my immersion, Third I think that the game would be much scarier if there was no combat and the only way to stay alive is to hide from the monsters, for example maybe you would have to turn off your flashlight and stop moving to avoid making noise, or you have to distract the monsters by throwing rocks or something. This game also has tons of positive things, for example the lighting and shadows were amazing, I think that the flashlight shouldn't make a circle of light around you though, the graphics were surprisingly great, it has a certain charm to it, love it, and the ambiance was great, it felt like it fit very well. I think the game is good but could use some improvement to make it amazing. hope you don't just TL;DR this.

This wasn't scary in anyway. Plus, every characters voice was annoying, mostly Anabel's. Other than that, I kinda liked it
