Reviews for "Squeez"

Well..

I enjoyed the game very much. However I do have some comments.

I don't know about anybody else, but This game seemed to have rediculous lag for me for no apparent reason. Pretty much as soon as the game started speeding up with more balls things started moving very jerky. My suggestion for that is simply to add a quality setting, or to leave that in the right click menu.easy fix. But as you can immagine lag in a game like this is pretty much instant death.

i also did notice, as Lukarnis had mentioned, that reappearing after death can really kill you quickly. I think what would be a better solution there would be if you gave a person a couple seconds to be invincible that would be great.

I prefer to have acheivements listed so I can know what I have to do to complete them. Unless they are all things that anyone playing the game would eventually do? I can't tell because I haven't unlocked them all.

My main thing again is the lag. A quality setting should fix that problem for myself and anyhone else who has noticed it. Keep up the good work.

I'll see what I can do, thanks for the heads up.

Achievement Unlocked: Death by sudden appearance

First off, great game. Submitted to games collection, at least one vote from me.
The graphics weren't too shabby, especially since you were going for a retro look. Gameplay is simple, yet challenging. I couldn't tell if the Achievement Unlocked bit was a real concept or a satirical poke at the 360...either way, I felt it was unnecessary. But then, that's how I feel about Achievements on the Xbox too.

The only thing I think could use some serious improvement is the death aspect. I died twice, in rather quick succession, because the orb suddenly reappears. Perhaps have it start out small and grow, giving the player a chance to adjust to it being there. Rather than having a slightly-difficult-to-predict time frame before it pops back at full size. By the time the walls are coming fast and cramped enough for a player to die, they're coming so fast that there's no reaction time to avoid getting killed again.

Good game though...fully deserving of front page, imho.

ImpendingRiot responds:

Sorry about that, something that can be improved, I agree. My best piece of advice is to hold down the mouse when you die, that way you spawn shrunken. Anyways, thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed it

its really cool

love the old school nes feel
