I actually like the original more but you made an excellent song out of it. To be honest I can't find anything wrong with it, I like it but prefer the original. Although I prefer the original it wont stop me 5 upping this. Out of all of the ways this could have turned out it turned out great, good job :)

Thank you! I guess it's kind of hard to compare the two versions, mainly because they're two different styles. The original is more of a fast-paced epic metal version, mine has a bit more of an orchestral feel to it. That said, it's not uncommon that people like the original more, so I'm perfectly fine with that =) To be honest, I think the original suits the game much better than mine, but I wanted to try something a bit 'different' than your standard metal remix. That said, glad you liked it, and thanks again for the review!

Excellent. I personally found that the remix went perfect with the original song, which not many people can do quite as well as you did here. Bravo, good sir!
And it felt like it was progressing into a story of epic proportions!

Haha, thank you very much! That was exactly what I was trying to achieve, so I'm glad you liked it that much =) Too bad I'm not good at animating, otherwise I would've actually created a flash-movie to go with it, but oh well... I guess our imagination is a great story teller as well ^^

it comes out a bit monotonous in the part of the string section you couldve added some embellishment but the transitions and orchestrations are good.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind for later projects =) Keep in mind though that those parts are fairly monotonous in the original as well, so I pretty much had to keep it that way to avoid it from straying from the original.
