I couldn't figure out how to make a combo system without it bugging up; I might try again in the future. :P
Tip: Punch the green circle.

This is great! The graphics are really, really good, the script is done pretty well, the animation is terrific and stylish, and overall this is the makings of a really good game!
Don't be sad if this gets blammed; if it is, it's because it wasn't enough (which it wasn't, it was just a demo), not because it was bad (which it isn't).

Yeah, I was kind of iffy as to whether or not this was enough. But like I said in the description, I wanted to see what I should add/remove to the engine before I make the actual game.

Pretty good engine so far. There's a bug with the jumping, where if you are falling, then press up, you can perform a mid-air jump. Not sure if this was intended or not, but otherwise pretty good.
It's half-intended. It really is a bug, but I figured I might as well leave it in there, in case the player accidentally falls off due to my crappy collision checking.
Pretty good physics engine
It's got potential to be a really good platformer or RPG, side scrolling was really the right way to go and I love the character design, maybe take the actionscript and turn this into a full level demo, before you know it you'll be constructing your own game! =)
you've got everything you need ready, all you gotta do is expand the world you've created! =)
Yeah, this is just the test level. I already have the little intro and the menu finished, along with starting the first level/tutorial.

Was very nice work mate...
Thought it was quite a nice change for a platformer. The falling death was great I thought, keep it up, I'll definately be playing it when its done.

Never know though, I may add some little funny bits to it. I'm going for a more serious type of game.
