its just to show off some kick ass animation skills.
also shows the wide range the artist can do, and yes; very impressive.

But it didn't make any sense and the music was irritating.

The animation was nice, however I imagine it only makes sense inside the animators head. The rest of us are left to pretty much stitch a story together by ourselves with Elmer's Glue and sheer Determination.
